Many athletes believe they need a high protein diet to fuel their muscles. Most research, however, doesn’t support the idea that athletes require massive amounts of protein, sure if you are bodybuilding or perhaps power lifting then yes but for most other sports this is not the case.

The one thing that is very true about diet and sports fitness though is that your diet is just as important to your training as is flexibility, endurance and skills.
